“Lost But Not Forgotten” is the latest single from UK-based rapper Yusuf Yellow.
Yellow is seamlessly developing a burgeoning reputation as a stalwart of the scene. The artist’s songwriting navigates through the different stages of his life, overhauling his creativity in the process. In his latest track, he reflects in an honest and open way on various topics such as loneliness, happiness, being stuck in the system, etc.
The lyrical approach is admirable – with the flow being closer to spoken word rather than heavy bar-dropping. The mellow flavour of the song comes not only from the essence of the lyrics but also from the melancholic synths.
