It's really hard not to love people like Yazmin Lacey. Not only because of her smoky, soulful voice that we want to hear every second of the day, please. But also because of her story.
She grew up in London but then moved to Nottingham, where she roamed the bars a lot, and then someone persuaded her to sing. She did and caught the attention right away, so she started singing by night and working at a children’s charity by day. It's hard for a voice like hers to stay unrecognized, and now she is once again giving us a piece of her soft soul with her performance in "Bad Company". A smooth song that takes us to that underground place and life we so desperately want to see.
