Italian producer XXXXL has predominantly been showcasing his talents by making house music that calms and unwinds. With "ZERØ" however, he veers into the space of future garage and blends it with bass music influences. The track takes us on a journey as it begins rather minimally. It is gradually fleshed out by fascinating drum fills, bright leads, and eerie vocals that lead right into my favorite section of the track. Right before the climax, the drums fall silent and XXXXL introduces a new rhythm and larger-than-life synths to signal the arrival of the stellar climax.
