As soon as I heard Will Cherry and N'shai Iman's "genesis", my blood started boiling. It has been a while since I've heard such a beautiful juxtaposition. On one side you have the spaced-out keys in the background and N'shai Iman's soothing vocals, on the other - a dynamic fast drum break that adds a certain level of much-needed Monday energy.

Inspired by both classic and contemporary sound, Ohio-based Will Cherry's work has certainly been in the spotlight in recent years. Through collaborations with artists like Baby Tate and Sango, the talented singer and producer has proven how infectious and multi-dimensional his art is. This perfectly aligns with N'shai Iman ability to make you feel as if she's in the room with you. The "dance" of their voices paired with the outstanding instrumental is something that I haven't heard in a while.
