In case you missed it, our recent interview featured WhoMadeWho, a Danish group that has been trailblazing in indie dance and, more recently, in the realm of contemporary electronic music.
"Everyday" with Rampa (alongside the Shimza remix) served as my gateway into their work. It's soulful, minimal, and beautifully crosses the bridge between indie and electronic music. The haunting yet soulful vocal performance stands out as the most memorable part of the track especially since it gives the track an atmospheric allure ever so seamlessly. It's towards the end where Rampa and WhoMadeWho trade in the minimal vibe for a climax that's bright and compels listeners to dance. In the interview, the group actaully spoke on the impact Rampa had on their production process and their album UUUU.
