There is not much known about weslee (hence the tag #who is weslee on their Soundcloud), but the song hit me right away when I heard it in the ending credits of a pretty good show "You're The Worst". God bless the people responsible for the music on this show.
Fans have started massively searching for any of the social media presence of the artist, but one month after the release of the episode there is still nothing. I think everyone should just stop trying and embrace the hypnotic track and the mystery around it. "Gassed" is slow and captivating with beautiful vocals. The track has a very seductive feel to it and all of the elements of the song just add up to it, be it vocals or production. I don't really need to know who weslee are as long as they continue making music this good.
