Weltmusik is a French duo that beautifully navigates the delicate balance between digital and acoustic sounds, crafting a distinctive energy that goes beyond genre categorization. Comprised of two musicians (fun fact, both named Paul), their varied musical backgrounds add to their sound exploration. With influences from classical and rock all the way to techno and house their diversity fuels their creative synergy, allowing them to experiment across genres and textures.
In 2017, the two Pauls decided to merge their contrasting influences into a shared vision. Their work reflects an exploration of musical boundaries, blending organic instruments with electronic beats, something that's evident in their new single "Vores" released via NORR. The track is the first official single from their upcoming EP scheduled for release later this year.
The track was recorded in a special place for Weltmusik located in the North Alps and features field recordings they captured while on a retreat there.
