You might have noticed I don't usually feature indie rock, but I couldn't bypass this one.
It had me at "San Junipero". If this name doesn't ring a bell, you probably haven't seen "Black Mirror" - a sci-fi TV series by Netflix.
"San Junipero" is one of its most surprising and beautiful episodes. So good, it won Emmy a few months back.
Watch for Horses got inspired by the love story between two people who are inherently different. They add:
“The most intriguing part is that this all takes place in this alternative to heaven, called San Junipero”
It's an energetic song with a catchy chorus. As fresh as the episode itself.
