Even though it's been 5 months since this has released, I'm really hoping Wallows eventually hear this and make it an official remix! Holmesick has transformed an Indie loved ballad into a banger that has the potential to heat up the dance-floor at any party.
I seamlessly gravitated towards the atmospheric synths, particularly the luminous lead which slips into the mix during the drop. The vocals on Holmesick's rendition also come across a lot dreamier than the original by virtue of the florid effects the young producer has decorated around them. I definitely see this as the backtrack of an indie movie during a road trip to encapsulate youth and adventure.
