I wonder if there is a bigger Purity Ring fan than me in the whole of Scandinavia. Perhaps, there is..but I am trying to make a point here. Their debut album Shrines is one of my favorite albums of all time. It was released in 2012 and I know two years isn't enough time to actually use the term "all time favorite" but I swear I love this album.

Megan James and Corin Roddick are without a doubt very talented and to see for yourself, watch this footage from Primavera Sound Festival 2012. Corin has created this peculiar looking electronic device, making sounds as he is drumming on it. Megan and her voice are just gorgeous. I would love to see them live.
