Few artists can claim to have the consistency of Vesky. His high release rate does nothing to detract from the crisp completeness of every track he puts out, with his latest offering being no different. In a genre that can sometimes feel a little oversaturated and generic, there's something about the quality of the young artist's discography that sets him apart from the crowd.
Atmospheric and pensive, "Serene" offers an opportunity to lie back and forget oneself for a few minutes, an opportunity much appreciated amongst the stresses of life at the moment. Every element of the track sits exactly how it should and melds perfectly with the rest of the track; nothing threatens to pull the listener out of their trance.
Vesky has achieved a lot in the relatively short period since his first release, becoming somewhat of a poster boy for the "new wave" of future garage. Gone is the golden era, but he finds himself in a perfect position to help drive the renaissance.
