"Ritual Two" marks the official debut of Verdance, the brand new project of chillhop and lofi producer Handbook - but in this instance, it's the colorful electronic textures and organic embellishments which lure the listener to his nature-inspired sound.
Throughout the track there are variety of drum patterns we're introduced to, with UK garage and house influences being the most conspicuous. This makes "Ritual Two" saunter between a tune that is dance-friendly and something you could close your eyes and zone out too. Especially when we bring the dreamy nature of the atmospheres which arrive half way.
Verdance's debut EP Rothko releases on December 7th via Stereofox Records, with "Ritual Two" being one of the more energetic tracks.
