Been a minute since we had Canadian duo Otherwise Fine in our feed, so I'm more than happy to showcase their new sonic endeavors to your ears. Their self-released 2018 EP IwantU really made an impact in the lush and EDM-inspired electronic scene, especially for people who were craving the early ODESZA sound.
Spencer and Jake combine the musicality and emotions of acoustic songwriting with the textures and energy of electronic production and that's something you can perfectly experience in their new re-imagination of Ukiyo and Panama's 2020 release "The Middle". The guys reinforced the original with energetic builds while keeping the essence of the original. Think of this remix as an electronic power-up in Super Mario.
