Even though Two Lane' "Never Enough" is upbeat rhythmically, the moody vocal performance and the somewhat melancholic arrangement of keys provides quite an introspective listening experience.
The make-shift percussion on here was one of the elements which certainly caught my attention - it's almost as if coins were rattled on a table, recorded and manipulated to not only texturally decorate the track but also aid with the unorthodox swing. Overall this is a wonderful exhibition of electronica blending superbly with classical features.
