I think I got on the Turnstile hypetrain later than most, but what I compensated with was an insane repeat button year in 2022 and 2023!

The Baltimore-based 4-piece hardcore punk band dropped their critically acclaimed record GLOW ON back in April of 2021 and today we celebrate a dream re-imagination of that record thanks to legendary Canadian jazz ensemble BADBADNOTGOOD. Honestly, I couldn't even dream of a better genre transfusion.

The 3-track New Heart Designs EP dropped a few hours ago and presents a new, (obviously) jazzy/chill interpretation of three tracks from Turnstile's record - "Mystery," "Alien Love Call" featuring Blood Orange, and "Underwater Boi."

Today is a good day to fall in love with music again.

The project was released alongside a video showcasing all three tracks and showing the band's most comfortable environment - a live performance.
