It is always a treat when Tulpa & BLANKTS release something together , so it was a real pleasure their upcoming EP Storytales is just around the corner.
The US producer and Canadian singer/songwriter who met on the Internet (and apparently are currently dating, how cool is that?) are the perfect example how nowadays all one needs is talent and a laptop. Being able to watch an artist's development over time literally in front of your eyes is truly amazing and I have to say I'm really stoked about the future of these guys. Their music has always given me a lot of solitude and warmth which nothing else beats that feeling.
"Gnats" is the first of the 3 tracks planned for their Storytales EP and perfectly fits with the record's title. The whole track feels like an intimate conversation and a peak in someone's life. Beautiful work.
