The 2nd single features talented Bulgarian-born, London-based singer Lili. I've been aware of her talent, but damn "THE ROAD TO CHOREFTO" is certainly a masterpiece to start your "official" career with.
"THE ROAD TO CHOREFTO is a song about taking the unknown road that Lili and I wrote last summer. I made the beat after a pretty long drive on the beach of Chorefto, using the MPC and immediately knew that the sonics are perfect for PAUSE VOL.2.
Shortly after, Lili and I got to the studio and she came up with this beautiful verse that kind of glued everything together.", shares Trombobby.
The talented multi-instrumentalist goes beyond the norm when it comes to experimenting with sounds and sets an eerie sound stage that's perfectly welcoming to the feeling of unknown. Unknown is a pretty good way to describe the vibe the track exhales. The dark blend of alt r&b and soulful emotions is going to give you instant goosebumps. What I consider the finishing blow of "THE ROAD TO CHOREFTO" is the rapping snippet where Lili solidifies her spot as someone to be utterly excited about.
