Waking up with some groovy homage to classic hip hop injected with an infectious beat inspired by Dr. Dre's drum patterns, melodic piano sample chops, and flawless flow.
Stoked to share with you Trizz and MIKE SUMMERS' new joint featuring legendary California native Blu. Mad props to MIKE SUMMER for crafting such a sick beat that will make your head bop right-off-the-bat. Trizz's laid-back pocket cadences fit perfectly on top, all while honoring the timeless Wu-Tang classic "C.R.E.A.M".
While still in his 20s, LA-born Trizz has been around for way over a decade now. Growing up with hip hop, Trizz (real name Arthur "Tre" Lea III) fell in love with writing and producing from a very early age as a way to escape boredom and the simplicities of living life on the outskirts. Since the release of his debut Young Trizz, the rapper has worked with Brotha Lynch Hung, toured with Tech N9ne and has gotten support by outlets like Complex Magazine, HipHopDX, and Mass Appeal.
Today we walk a new chapter in Trizz's journey alongside talented Kansas City producer MIKE SUMMERS. "Cream" is the 3rd single from their upcoming album Cavi En Cursive scheduled for release with Below System Records. Besides the legendary Blu, the record will feature a few other prominent features including Brotha Lynch Hung, Kokane, Flee Lord, and T.F.
Stay tuned for more.
