Lushful beats and vocals to kill for. Totemo's "Hits" is... not your typical track.
The track sounds like a exotic blend of Hundred Waters' Nicole Miglis gorgeous vocals & Bjork's strangeness. Also, the up-and-coming Israeli artist not only shares with us a mind-blowing sound. She shares one of the scariest and intimate experience one could go through - her journey through chemotherapy. I can't relate to this, but I feel there's nothing but pure and raw honesty pouring out of those sounds. I couldn't help myself but fall in love with the track halfway through the song and while it's over a year old, when a really cool colleague of mine shared with me at work today, I knew I'll rush home tonight and write this up.
I highly advise you to watch the video. It's... I can't even come up with a proper adjective. Just watch and soak into the sounds of "Hits".
