I was thinking for the proper term to use when describing this track but came with nothing. Luckily, Omelette Records shed some light on the genre. The out-of-this-word beats that you are listening to belong to modern groove electronica and "Emerald Hooves" is part of a record celebrating ten year anniversary entitled Swarm Theory.
The compilation consists of sixteen artists from seven countries and the emphasis is put on their collective efforts to work as one rather than their individual qualities. The result is this extremely rich in sounds album that is intended for listening and not dancing to. Of course if you feel like dancing no one will stop you.
