Something I really appreciate about "SUMMER", is the fact that instrumentally it's comprised of a minimalist stature and this allows Lossapardo's soothing vocals to really shine through the mix.
I actually discovered Lossapardo back in 2018 when I heard "3 AM", and after not hearing his music for almost 3 years it feels like I'm instantly impaled by nostalgia and taken back to the time I was a student regularly jamming his tunes. There's a bit of a paradox going on in "SUMMER" as the sounds exude an optimistic vibe thanks to the lush synths and chorus-dripping guitars, while the French artist's vocal delivery and lyricism lean towards a subtle melancholy. I think it's this juxtaposition of different emotions being thrown in the mix along with the stunning musicality exhibited which gives "SUMMER" its magic.
