As much as I will be cliche-ing to the bone, music is one of the most powerful tools we have on our hands. The power of a collection of sounds is beyond explainable. I woke up from my shell and was dragging myself around the house for some time now, but then the shuffle finally made it to The Geek x Vrv and my started blasting "Get Funky1933". It's 8 AM right now (and today we have a holiday in Berlin), so I bet my neighbors don't really love me, but honestly - this track is too good to be played quietly.

30 seconds in "Get Funky 1933" and I was sprinting to the kitchen for that first cup of coffee and a morning groovy dance. The track, featuring The Color Grey & Pomrad, is taken from their 2020 release Time Machine - a fusion of soul, disco, and funk-inspired bass-heavy sounds.

If there are new funk sheriffs in town, that's the 2 French producers.
