Now guys, this next track is seriously quite something. I've been seriously excited about sharing it ever since the submission hit my inbox and before anything - The Eagle Rock Gospel Singers are the bomb.
Influenced by gospel and soul music and rock bands like Wilco and The Black Keys, the US 5 piece will send you on a soulful rocky rollercoaster. Their track "Momma Told Me" is one of the most energizing tunes I've found in a while.
The band started as a choir of 15 gospel lovers which eventually shrunk down to Will (drums), Jeremy (guitar), Kim (vocals), Kevin (bass) and Andrea (vocals). While they are a third of the original constellation, the guys sound like an army.
Honestly, just hit the play button and embrace the energy flowing out of the speakers/headphones. Goosebumps!
