The good old boom-bap.

So glad there's still people crafting songs in that style - raw drums, sampled melodies & a nostalgic feel. "Army Jacket" by Finnish producer Teemu Nätynki is spot-on and it certainly took me back in time with its mesmerizing keys, synths & head-nodding beat.

I love how he explains it: "Think about New York City streets in the 90's. Capone and Noreaga rapping. Prodigy and Havoc too. All wearing army fatigues."

"Army Jacket" is part of Teemu's 2022 album Give 'Em Boom Bap which is a 10-piece cohesive body of work you should totally check out.
