I think Tarzier is one of few artists from Hawaii to ever been featured on the website, which makes his absolutely gorgeous downtempo / bass / house electronica even more exciting.
"Love You Honestly" is one of the most vibrant tracks I've found in a while and while it oozes a bit of mellowness, it feels like one of those songs that will make you want to dance.
The producer shares...
This songs roots began after a hard time in my relationship. After a rough fight and not knowing what the future held, I just started playing my piano and came up with the chord progression for the song. After sample searching for vocals I really latched on to snippet for a larger sample, with a feathery light but soulful female voice singing "Don't you think like that, I will love you honestly" It really struck a chord with me about how if you have real, honest love, you can make it through anything. So the song is a plead to your partner to not let their mind be clouded by doubt and the future. That you will love them honestly, accept them for who they are, and the rest will fall into place.
