What happens if you blend Tame Impala, Khruangbin and... Frank Ocean. Yeah, I know it may sound weird, but if you think about it - wouldn't it be sick? No need to wonder anymore, because if you dig emotional lofi / garage vibes with psychedelic elements, then T. Soomian's "Tell Me" is a pill you need to take.
The US artist developed his eclectic musical palate early in childhood, heavily influenced by his travels abroad visiting family. He draws heavy influence from the 70s - something you'll feel right away. Soomian is currently recording his full length album Love Relief which is scheduled for this summer.
"The songs will have a similar sound, not veering too far from groovy, late 70s dad porno pop music."
Honestly, the whole sonic journey is homage to that classic, vintage sound many of us grew up with. I mean thats a few decades before my time, but that doesn't mean it's not music to fall in love with. Honestly, the dude exhales groove and emotion.
I feel like playing "Tell Me" while laying in a huge grass field somewhere in the countryside and watching the sky.
