For those of you who are in need of some uplifting vibes, here's a track that won't leave you thirsty.

"Too Fly" is a highly-motivational track that combines strong lyricism, impeccable delivery and lush live-performed instrumentation. It is the soundtrack to finding inner confidence and substituting self-doubt with self-worth, brokenness with wholeness. Synik elaborates:

"Too Fly" is a song that aims to instil a sense of pride and self-worth, especially given how easy it is to undermine ourselves as we are constantly bombarded by images to judge ourselves against. Like some of my other music, the song is essentially a note to self. At different points in life, I have struggled with low self-esteem and imposter syndrome and I imagine I am not the only one. So while I remind myself of my ‘flyness’ I hope to lead the listener to recognise their own.

Heavily charged with good vibes, the track demonstrates Synik’s well-honed lyricism delivered over the soul-inspired instrumental. The Zimbabwean wordsmith effortlessly switches between rapping and singing, maintaining a captivating flow and infectious energy. His powerful delivery and smooth singing voice, combined with the instrumentation elevate the track sonically, further enhancing the song's inspirational message.

"Too Fly" is taken off Synik's second full-length project, developed in collaboration with people from all over the world. Combining hip hop, soul and African influences, A Travel Guide For The Broken is a one-of-a-kind album, a treat both for the ears and the soul. Explore below:
