Ever wondered what's the soundtrack of nothingness? Cause I think I just found it in the sounds of Stumbleine. I'm not sure how "Dawn" makes me feel, but the closest thing I could imagine is like staring into an endless void, where nothing ever happens nor will. Where the concept of time is basically nonexistent and if you end up inside, you will float around perpetually. No wonder these 6 minutes and a half feel like eternity.
On the contrary of my believes, Stumbleine is not a band. It's the moniker of Peter Cooper - Bristol-based producer and in my humble opinion - a music genius. I would assume that by that point of the text you still haven't "entered" the track's culmination and the build-up is still slowly belting out in your ears. But yeah, soon you will know why I call this man a genius. So, for what his music is, I do believe he is fairly underrated which might be due the strange and in my opinion utterly brilliant mix of genres he's incorporating together. Basically anything I'm in love with for the past months - post-dubstep, post-rock, shoegaze, ambient... despite the fact that this track brings out the mellowest of all feelings, I am incredibly happy to have discovered his music and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
