Now we're talking about some trippy chillhop bangers! I mean slap the Ian Ewing and Strehlow names on a beat and you got me listening.
The 2 friends crafted the perfect blend of chill and head bop with "Speakeasy". The composition blends the simplistic sensibilities of chill and lofi beats with hi-fi and forward thinking production. I absolutely love depth of the kick and how underwater-y the whole thing sounds. Vocal chops give it this nice future beats Soulection feel, which is the reason I've been nodding my head all morning.
The song was meant to meld the timeless with the progressive, resulting in what we like to call "a banger you can even play for your grandmother".
