Last week I shared one of the most inspiring tracks I've heard in a while - Sofasounds' (properly titled) "Life Is So Beautiful", which also marked his journey alongside dutch label bitbird.
The track was a taste of his new album and today I wanted to share with you its title track. I've been following Sofasound for years now and have been aware of the fact that he battled a severe illness for years. The US producer wrote this album about his journey to recovery and his newfound appreciation for life. Something you can follow along with each track title. Besides the previous feature, the track that really made me stop for a second and dive in his sound is... well, what you're listening to right now. While the bass carries a special depth and power, there's something quite gentle about the beat.
Speaking of the record, the artist shares...
Sharing memories with family and friends, trying new things, meeting new people, dancing to music in your underwear.. happiness is a momentary decision and you can be happy if you let yourself find it. I want to remind people that inevitably, if you let your heart sing, the suffering doesn't own you, and happiness can still exist in your heart.
