Flying In The Dark

Iceland-based, Ivory Coast-born musician, snny, dropped a fresh hiphop-driven soulful tune, featuring Ybañez.

Lush guitars, warm vocal textures and playful rhymes form the chilled character of "Flying In The Dark", part of snny's upcoming record.

Snny's biggest inspiration for the LP is the movie Boyhood and the fact it took that took 11 years to make. Water is Styled Honey began as a poem, morphing into a short film. TIt all began as a way for snny to contemplate the relationship he never had with his grandfather, which inspired the plot of the movie. The album serves as something of a soundtrack:

I had this idea of things my grandfather would tell me. This perspective of getting advice from somebody I’d never met and what that would look like, sound like, and feel like. It’s in relation to all of the songs.
