Raising UK production duo Snakehips is set to release their new EP, Forever (Pt. II) on March 9th. While we wait for the EP to drop they've released a new promotional song titled "Gone," a song that features Syd of The Internet - Odd Future on vocals.
"We wrote 'Gone' at Syd's house in LA just after we'd been on tour in Australia," Snakehips told FADER magazine. "It was our first session on that trip and we were pretty jet lagged. It started from a rough loop we'd made a couple of weeks before and we built it up from there. Syd's studio is a really sociable spot, I remember Jesse Boykins came through at one point in the day and laid down ideas for the bridge."
The song features their signature smooth sound complete with swirling synths, laid back hip hop beats and with a voice as good as Syd's it's hard not to love this song.
