Smoke DZA is one of those legends that came into the spotlight in the early 2000s. Growing up in the New York neighborhood - Harlem thought him a thing or two, and after many albums and collaborations, he's back at it again with his soulful hip hop LP Money for Dummies.
The MC's lyrical skills shine through all 10 tracks, but "42" grabbed me with its harmony in the first two seconds, and it did not let go. The better part? The clothing brand The Smokers Club, co-founded by Smoke DZA and his friends Shiest Bubz and Jonnyshipes, now brings it to the next level as with this album, they are announcing a brand new record label. "All 3 of us started out making music so it was only right goin into ‘23 we launch Smokers Club Records." says Jonny.
