This track was quite the surprise for me. Last time I heard Slugabed was about 3-4 years ago and the music he was producing was quite different, very glitchy, fast paced and experimental. His talent was obvious even though it wasn't my taste at the time.

His new "Earth Is Gone Sorry" is a very different, melodic and elegantly crafted composition, which flows perfectly for its full duration without stagnation. The vocals do well to translate a somber, social message throughout the track, guided by its title. Absolutely love the range of instruments and textures used here - a masterful arrangement from Slugabed, which perhaps signifies a different direction in his expression. I am yet to check out the remainder of his new album Inherit The Earth, but my expectations are already in the right place - follow the link and enjoy it as well!

Oh, and did I mention that the track has an absolutely nuts video, that weirdly enough fits perfectly?
