When you see the name Bearcubs, you kind of know that the track is going to be good. What I didn't expect is that Bearcubs will be playing a smaller part here, while SLO will be in the spotlight.
Jess Mills aka SLO provides her soft vocals and I am blown away by the a cappella start of the track where the vocals get all the attention they deserve. When the production picks up it turns out to be very minimalistic reminding me of Jake Blake - this is the exact right amount of electronic to back the ethereal voice. "Atone" is the track off SLO's new Atone EP and even though I picked the very first track for the feature, the other 3 are worth checking out as well.
