The musical synergy between Skyline Sun and Mío Ma has proved to be marvelous, and the pair continue their hot streak with the elegant new release "Take Me Back".
Skyline Sun, originally from Australia and now based in Berlin, is a nu-jazz project that brings a fresh and groove-focused approach to jazz and improvised music. With its vibrant rhythm section and interesting use of percussion, "Take Me Back" is a gorgeous example of this sentiment. This adds to the colorful allure of the track, along with the luminous synth works paired with the Latin-inspired groove. I can't neglect to mention Mío Mas' gripping vocal performance as it's not only incredibly soulful, but her delivery is also REALLY catchy.
