I first stumbled across Sivu a couple of months ago and since then things have been going remarkably well for the 24 year old Brit. When he's not making videos in MRI scanners, James Page has been working on a debut album produced by long term friend and collaborator Charlie Andrews (producer of Alt- J's Mercury Prize winning album) whilst simultaneously being picked to support London Grammar on their upcoming tour. Lovely job!
This brings us to new track 'I Lost Myself'. The song deals with some pretty heavy subjects, most notably of these being the drug and alcohol culture in London's underground and the effects it can have. These decidedly serious subjects are layered over an upbeat and engaging track which gives the track an interesting juxtaposition and some real gravitas. Keep your eyes on this lad folks, we have a real contender for stardom.
