I think it goes without saying - when it comes to Anderson .Paak's music, me and Georgi are pretty much on frenzy. The dude is on fire and is one of the most (in my personal opinion) creative musicians of this generation.
That's why when it come to covering his music, our standards are exceptionally high. That, however, was not an issue for Sitkah who takes on "Lite Weight" off his most recent album Malibu.
The talented Canadian artist turns the groovy and lushful Kaytranada-produced "Lite Weight" into very personal and somehow slow-motion delight. This cover will basically make you float above anyone and anything.
Also, the more I listen to this, the more I can seriously see the real "power" of covers - complete transformation of a song we already love into something new and exciting. Hands down one of the best re-interpretations of a song I've heard in a while!
