This is the kind of hazy hip-hop you should listen to on a hot summer day.

Although rapper Phundo Art comes from the winter side of our planet - the vibrant South Africa (Soweto in particular), he currently resides in the UK - and I bet you can hear the influence in his vocals. For "Give It To Me", he joins Dutch producer & multi-instrumentalist Simeon - and the result will melt you like Europe's heat wave.

The song, dedicated to "all people with butterflies in their stomachs", is about the excitement around the 1st love. It fuses soulful influences & hip-hop, with delightful guitars, warm keys, and an impeccable groove I can't get enough of.

"Give It To Me" is the first single from their 6-track joint Promenade EP, set to release later this year via Exp. Share Records. Not gonna lie, I'm excited to hear what they've crafted.
