Frankly said, there's nothing very interesting I could share about the song below, besides the fact that literally half an hour ago I had the urge of writing about a remix of Sigur Rós and share it here. Upon searching the keywords, I was just flooded with shitloads of remixes of that particular song, so it took quite some time to choose the one I dig the most.
"Sæglópur" is probably my favourite track from the Icelanders and I think the beaming piano and the cinematic ambient give a lot of space to producers to experiment. They manage to preserve the integrity of the original, while tuning down the rock sound and turn the track into pleasant a dubstep tune without any unnecessary wobbly bass, unlike some of the other remixes I came across. Oh well, enjoy!
