Globally acclaimed human beatboxing wizard and Guinness record holder Shlomo pairs up with singer-songwriter Kal Lavelle to write a what I'd call a wonderfully positive sing-along song in just 2 hours.
Having given up astrophysics to perform his vocal pyrotechnics (as he calls his music) Shlomo surely likes a challenge, and so he sets himself one - write a song with each of his guest artists literally hours before his shows at the London Wonderground festival this summer. Each collaboration then comes out as a downloadable track and funds go to support the WAR Child charity.
What a lovely idea, I say, and what's even better, he's bringing it with him on his UK tour starting this Friday. Shlomo: Human Geekbox is a brand new interactive show exploring the music of the human voice through cool gadgetry and geeky sound science. From Glastonbury to Latitude and Bestival, Shlomo is a definite festival favourite and is definitely recommendable you go along to one of his shows and experience his sonic wizardry.
