I don't think that somebody has covered pop on Stereofox so far. She & Him will be a good start. It is an American duet consisting of Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward. Can somebody explain how can a person be talented in mmm everything? I think Zooey is doing a great job in this band. They have released three albums so far, one was purely Christmas, how amazing is that? They have also announced that their next album is coming in 2013, which is also quite exciting.
"Thieves" is a track from their second album "Volume Two" and I think it is very representative of what She & Him are all about. Very easy-going indie-pop, all shiny and summery. She sounds straight from the 70s and I absolutely love it.
They will be on tour in the States this summer, so it's something definitely worth checking out.
