Shamis and his band mates in King Hassan have introduced a distinctive brand of r&b in their gorgeous new collaboration "Strange Lights".

Shamis is a producer, songwriter, and label founder whose musical journey started at a young age touring and producing with the renowned Dutch hip-hop artists of his generation. On "Strange Lights", we're welcome to a listening experience that possesses an experimental edge thanks to the wobbly bass line and the atmospheric pads hanging in the background. I can't neglect to mention the stellar vocal performance as Shamis' voice oozes sensuality and a sense of comfort. This sounds like a tasteful combination of the styles of Jordan Rekei and the early works of Jai Paul.

"During an intense creative period, Shamis formed a band called King Hassan alongside Kabul $lim, Rebiere, and Kick Woudstra. Together, they dove deep into the creative process, crafting beats and songs day and night at the Birdhouse Studio. The single is a testament to the synergy between the artists and the innovative spirit that fuels Shamis’ work."
