Overture

I've been following the work of Shallow for a while now, and I must say, "Overture" is hands down among my favorite releases from the Washington-based artist.

Producer, singer, and songwriter Shallou has become one of the leading voices in the "chill electronic" realm with his peaceful and blissed-out style of production. "Overture", taken from his 25, winter EP is a marvelous example of this sentiment, especially with its rich classical influence adorned throughout the second half. It serves as a gentle opener that's dreamy, atmospheric, and filled with dramatic moments that are bound to tug at your heartstrings.
