Formed in the North East of England and currently based in London, acoustic duo Seafret are a band on the rise. Amassing plenty of attention off the back of their brilliant debut Give Me Somthing EP, the duo's depth and substance in an often simplistic and organic acoustic format has really made them stand out amongst the crowd.
Brand new single "Oceans" is a perfect testament to this. Formed around a dreamy acoustic melody, the track's stirring emotion is lifted from the guitar-line by a torrent of sweeping strings that ebb and flow peacefully like waves on a lonely and desolate beach.
With the comforting addition of a twinkling piano-line and lead singer Jack Sedman's soft, rousing vocals, this is an emotionally charged epic that gets better and better every time you press play.
