It has been a while since I heard electro/synth pop band, which sounds different from the others performing in this genre. Satchmode deliver a mix of electro pop and dream pop in their second track "Best Intentions" and it sounds just about right. Heavy synths coupled with gentle vocals (hitting falsetto at some point) result in a perfect daydreaming hazy song.
LA duo (Gabe Donnay and Adam Boukis) have an EP on their way called Collide which is mastered by the guy who worked with M83 and Silversun Pickups and is due in early January. Great way to start a year.
