Driven by her musical upbringing since an young age, as a Maori-Japanese artist she often explores the 2 cultures she has been raised with. I absolutely love the intimate vibe and lyrics of the track. Sarah writes about how she expected someone to do her wrong and how she was ready to write a song about it. I guess sometimes we just sense these things from afar.
