I spend half of my 3 hours flight from Madrid to Berlin yesterday looping through santpoort's new 6 track EP mudflat hikers (out via Chillhop Records). After the "wading through the wetlands" feature  it's time to continue the journey.

I am in love. The depth and intimacy of those tracks is just impeccable and each offers a complex layer of emotions, rendered through Julien's vision. The EP's second track "nomads of the sea" reminded me of the latest quickly, quickly EP over skies. It feels like a travel back in time, reminds me of a weird beat soundtrack to a scene where Frodo walks into that town tavern in the first Lord of the Rings movies.
