My favorite project from Sango is by far De Mim Pra Voce, and "Maio" is actually quite reminiscent of tracks you'd find in that album.
When it comes to the drums "Maio" is emblazoned with the signature aesthetic of Sango that's derived from Baile Funk - a hip hop style from Rio de Janeiro that draws inspiration from Miami bass and gangsta rap music. There's also a trippy sort of effect that's found in the melodic arrangement. In fact, there actually isn't a concrete kind of melody we're mainly welcomed to a wave of reversing synths that make up quite a dreamy vibe.
