Ever since Arctic Monkey's AM was officially released, I've been hearing heaps of different opinions on the record and at some point I actually got tired of digging the same old hole around what the album represents and whether that's a good direction for the band. IMO, the record is brilliant. One things for sure - people are crazy about those guys. Their gig in Berlin was sold out as quick as .
But let's move on. Sam Smith is most certainly an artist we should have featured long time ago, but you know - life happened and... well, we kinda missed jumping on that bandwagon. Now the young British singer (born in 1992, yep) is taking over the Internet with a brilliant cover of "Do I Wanna Know?" live for BBC's Zane Lowe. In the beginning I thought "oh, that's gonna be quite the r&b take on the song", but once the instrumental kicks-in at 1:25 shit is getting real. Sam nailed it and I think this performance really reveals the range of his incredible voice.
